Better Said Than Done in Inside NoVa

Better Said Than Done, the storytelling troupe I started in 2011, is featured in a fantastic article by Tamika Matthews in Inside NoVa.  Read all about it here.

I especially love that she was able to plug our upcoming show, “All in the Family,” at Jammin’ Java Friday, January 13th, at 7PM.  Doors open at 6PM and tickets are $10 at the door.

Get over the holidays with Better Said Than Done

Better Said Than Done tackles the joy that is family at our first storytelling show of 2012 “All in the Family – Stories of Apron Strings, Family Feuds, and (not so) Happy Holidays.”

The show will be at Jammin’ Java, 227 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, Virginia, on Friday, January 13, 2012, at 7 PM.  The performance will feature entertaining performances of true stories about blood relatives.  Storytellers include: Geraldine Buckley, Dustin Fisher, Derek Hills, Jennifer Luu, Jessica Piscitelli, Adam Ruben, and Ellouise Schoettler.  Additionally, Better Said Than Done welcomes first time teller Mel Pine to the stage.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at or 703-255-1566 ext. 8, or at Jammin’ Java.  A full dinner menu and full bar are available during the show.  Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  The show is all ages, but is intended for an adult audience.  For additional information or to see videos of past shows, visit the Better Said Than Done website at
